“I started seeing Rebecca for acupuncture in March 2015 to treat my plantar fasciitis and migraine headaches. After each session with Rebecca, my tension evaporates and my worries melt away – I feel rejuvenated! Rebecca is compassionate, a good listener and above all else she has a very special touch. Her healing touch has helped my issues and I look forward to seeing her at every visit.”

“I’m truly grateful for Rebecca’s healing hands. I believe her decision to combine relaxing massage with intuitive Acupuncture is divine. Over time, she’s addressed my severe anxiety with great success. When it worsened during menopause, she was evermore available, and increasing my visits to her helped me immensely. My cravings for white, refined sugar have decreased considerably, as well. Most recently, I woke up with some difficult pain in my lower back. She found a way to treat me the very same day I called for an appointment. My back continues to improve, and if I feel a twinge of pain or discomfort, I have ways of readjusting my posture and lightening my load. In my eyes, she’s a national treasure, and its a pleasure and honor to work with her.”

“I have been actively recovering from substance abuse for eleven years and firmly believe a multi-faceted approach is critical. Along with meetings, sponsorship, and professional counseling, acupuncture has been an integral component of my recovery program. By balancing the body’s energies, I have enjoyed a greater sense of wellness physically and emotionally. Rebecca Donnelly has been my acupuncturist for more than five years and I have recommended her to numerous people. Beyond her skill and experience, she truly understands the physical, mental and spiritual needs of those in recovery. I find that Rebecca has combined this deep understanding with a very real compassion for those recovering from substance abuse.”

“I am 26 years old and have suffered from severe TMJ since the age of 13, ever since I was kicked in the face during a soccer game and dislocated both of my jaw joints. As I have gotten older, there was a gradual increase in my associated oro-facial pain and migraines because of the injured joints. Over the past few years, the pain had gotten to a point in which I truly struggled to get through each and every day. I have seen multiple TMJ specialists who have tried multiple approaches, including orthotics and dental appliances, all to no avail. Right around the same time when I was told that surgery would be my only option, a surgery that actually has a greater chance of making the situation worse rather than better, a counselor I was seeing at the time referred me to Rebecca and told me to give acupuncture a try. To be honest, I 100% thought that it would not work, but figured that it was worth a try. After about my 3rd session (1 session per week) I began to notice a pretty drastic decrease in my levels of pain. After another 2-3 sessions, I was at an 80-90% reduction in my overall pain. I was completely shocked and amazed that there was something to this, as I went into it thinking that there was no way it could help my situation.
“Rebecca has honestly been a lifesaver, and has put me in a postion in which I can live my life to the fullest, and can live without the constant, nagging severe oro-facial pain and migraine headaches! Along with the reduction in pain, I also found myself much more centered and focused mentally. I was not nearly as reactive to my emotions, anger in particular, and was able to see many situations in my life in a much clearer light. Acupuncture has changed my life for the better in so many ways, and I am truly looking forward to making it a long-term treatment to help handle the pain that had gotten me so close to my breaking point in the past, before I gave acupuncture a chance. “

“Rebecca has a way of making you feel at ease and at home, even when you enter a session not feeling your best. It is evident that she truly cares about your well-being–she puts her heart and soul into each session. I am a long-time patient of Rebecca’s and will continue to be so, as I have received a great deal of benefit from my time with this gentle and kind practitioner. I would highly recommend Rebecca to anyone!”

“I am a skeptic by nature. As a lawyer and debate coach I am conditioned to question everything. When my husband gave me a gift certificate for acupuncture, I was willing to try it more because I love adventure than any hope that it would have any positive impact on my life. People had recommended acupuncture to me for years but I thought it was all non-sense. I suffer from chronic joint and muscle pain as well as depression and post traumatic stress disorder. How was sticking needles in my body going to help that?
“But after nearly 5 months of acupuncture I have come to find it the single most effective treatment for both my physical aches and pains as well as my mental health. I can’t understand why it works. I can’t explain why a needle in my right arm has completely alleviated the pain in my left knee left from a broken kneecap as a teenager. I don’t know why putting a needle in my right ear has allowed me to handle stress in such positive and trans-formative ways. I used to come to every session with a million questions about how this whole process works. Rebecca has patiently tried to explain but in truth I no longer think I need to understand it all.
“The bottom line is I feel better than I have in 20 years. My family, friends and co-workers have all commented that I seem like a completely changed person since I began treatment. To say that Rebecca and her amazing skill as an acupuncturist has saved my life is not an exaggeration. I am completely grateful for discovering this amazing treatment. I only wish I had tried it 20 years ago.”
